/ RollAirtight pre-compressed foam sealing tape with triple functionality. Suitable for exterior weatherproofing UV resistant and driving rain tight up to DIN 18542: 2009 class BG1 - 600pa. Thermal and acoustic insulation. Interior airtight sealing in conformity with DIN 18542: 2009 class BGR. The tape is impregnated with an adhseive and can be used without a primer. After application the tape expands to fill gaps and uneven surfaces. Supplied in various roll lengths and widths.
Applications:
Perfectly suited for a vapour permeable, driving rain tight and permenantly elastic joint sealing in accordance with the EPB and EnEV requirements on airtightness.Sealing of delatation and expansion joints, sealing of the connection joints between doors or windows and the wall. Soudaband Aktiv Plus was succesfully tested as a system on driving rain and airtighness, even after ageing (test report ift 11-000275-PR02).
Instructions:
Select the required roll length and width suitable for the dimensions of the joint width and joint depth. The joint edges should be parallel and free of dirt and remains of cement. When unwinding Soudaband Aktiv Plus, allow for an extra 1 cm per running meter of joint. When installing, make sure that the red side of the Soudaband Aktiv Plus is along the inside of the window. Start at the bottom in case of vertical joints. Fix the pre-compressed band with the self-adhering side to one joint edge by means of a filling-knife. After applying, the pre-compressed band will expand and press against the joint edges and fill uneven areas.

You may return any goods purchased from us within 14 days of the receipt of the goods to us for a refund. This does not apply to special orders, which are non-returnable. Please call our sales team for further advice regarding special orders.
The goods must be unused, in original packaging and in saleable condition. Any goods that are damaged or not in resaleable condition may be refused or may incur a restocking fee. You must also return any promotional items that were included in the order.
